A different kind of team activity

Useful. Social.
Actually memorable.

Most company gatherings put people in the same room. A cooking class gives them something to do together. Participants mix, shape, cook, taste, and share a finished result, with a clear role for everyone at the table.

That makes the experience easy to join for people who do not know one another well, and satisfying for people who already work closely. It is hands-on without needing prior cooking or baking experience.

These are private group experiences, built around your team, your space, and the occasion you are planning.

How it works

A clear plan from
first note to final bite.

You choose the type of gathering; Chaim helps shape the workshop. Before anything is booked, you will confirm the workshop, guest count, format, venue details, and preferred date together.

01 / Choose

Pick the experience.

Choose challah, sourdough, focaccia, pizza, fresh pasta, gnocchi, or Mediterranean cooking. Choose a Workshop or Workshop + Shared Meal format.

02 / Plan

Share the details.

Tell Chaim about the group, office or venue, preferred dates, dietary needs, and the kind of gathering you want to create.

03 / Make

Get hands-on together.

On the day, everyone works through a practical process with clear instruction, then enjoys what the group created.

Who it is for

Built for teams that
want more than a meeting.

A shared cooking project works well whenever a company needs a relaxed, inclusive setting for people to connect. It can be the main event or a thoughtful part of a larger offsite, retreat, or celebration.

Team building

For teams that want a collaborative activity with a natural rhythm: divide tasks, make decisions together, and see a shared result.

Employee appreciation

For leaders who want to thank a team with an experience that feels personal, generous, and worth talking about afterward.

Company offsites

For a break between working sessions, or an evening gathering that gives a retreat or planning day some real texture.

Client hospitality

For hosting clients or partners around an activity that is warm and social without forcing conversation.

New team connection

For onboarding, new departments, or merged teams that need an easy way to get acquainted outside their usual roles.

Company milestones

For seasonal celebrations, project launches, team wins, and other moments that deserve more than a standard happy hour.

Corporate class FAQs

The questions
organizers ask.

If your team has a different setup, include it in your inquiry. A private class can be shaped around the details that matter to your gathering.

Do employees need cooking experience?

No. The class is beginner-friendly, and people learn by making. More experienced cooks still get useful technique and a chance to practice.

Can the class work in an office?

Yes, if the office has the right work surfaces, seating, and tableware for the chosen format. Kitchen access may be needed depending on the workshop. Share your setup in the inquiry so the class can be planned appropriately.

What should a company provide?

At minimum, the venue needs work surfaces, seating, and tableware. Depending on the workshop, it may also need kitchen access. Final needs are confirmed while planning.

How far in advance should we inquire?

Send a few preferred dates or a general timeframe as soon as you have one. Availability and the final plan are confirmed directly before anything is booked or charged.

Can we choose a shared meal?

Yes. A Workshop + Shared Meal experience gives your group time to cook and then sit down together. This format is about 3 hours and works best for 4–12 guests.
